Welcoming Congregation

We are an official Welcoming Congregation which means that this Unitarian Universalist community welcomes and celebrates the presence and participation of persons of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.

In 1995 LUF was the third congregation in Canada to be officially recognized as a Welcoming Congregation. After revisiting the curriculum to be inclusive of Bisexual and transgender issues, our Welcoming Congregation status was renewed in 2011.
