Child Dedications

Our Lay Chaplains perform Child Naming and Dedication ceremonies for parents who want a ceremony to welcome their child into the world. Traditional religious ceremonies such as a baptism are not always what parents and grandparents may be looking for. Our Lay Chaplains can assist you in welcoming your child into the world with a Child Dedication Ceremony that recognizes the uniqueness of your beliefs. A child’s presence in our lives is an event to be celebrated – and although a ceremony is usually done at an early age it can be done at any time the parent(s) or guardian(s) feel is right.

Simpler child welcoming ceremonies can be incorporated into regular Sunday services, or arranged as a special occasion.
