Are you A “Canada Reads” Fan? What about a “UU Reads” experiment? … and Potluck!

On Saturday, November 1 at 4:00 pm LUF will be hosting the first UU Reads session with Rev. Debra Faulk leading the discussion on her choice: Embers: One Ojibway’s Meditations by the late Richard Wagamese (2016). Debra says that Embers provides inspiration, comfort and direction. It is filled with practical advice for responding to hard times.YOU ARE INVITED to be part of the discussion at Unitarian Place.
There will be a panel of ministers each pitching their book proposal.  The audience (that’s us) will be able to submit questions.  At the end of the event, all can vote on the book that will help us meet this moment, setting the theme for 2026’s Sharing Our Faith packet, and selecting the book that we will read nationally.

Contact Brenda Diebel to reserve your copy of Embers.
Entershine Bookshop has ordered a few copies for interested LUF-ers.
