Culture Days – Plein Air Event at Unitarian Place

Sept 21st Unitarian Place was a hub of activity from 9-4 celebrating Culture Days. We played host to a Plein Air event created by Irene Warmenhoven. Seven painters pulled up their stools, easels and began sketching and painting their vantage point of the magnificent church. She researched and shared the history of the congregational roots, building structure and community purpose that St Volodymyr’s Ukrainian Orthodox church served back in the 1930’s for Westfort immigrants from Ukraine.
