LUF is dependent entirely on its own fundraising efforts and the support of its members and friends. We encourage people to pledge financially as this gives us the ability to budget for each fellowship year. Of course, any and all donations are appreciated. Income tax receipts are provided for identified donations and offerings.

Our Endowment Fund, based on legacy gifts and “in memoriam” donations, helps us to build a capital base, with interest available for specific projects.

Things get more challenging going forward due to COVID-19. Please help us to pass the plate virtually as we can’t do it in person. Many of the Fellowship’s costs carry on so we hope that the revenue can continue as well. Here are the ways that you can contribute:

  • Carry on with your automatic withdrawal. Thanks to those of you who use this continuous method.
  • Mail a cheque to the Fellowship. Angie continues to work in the office. Jean pops
in as needed and will make deposits to the Bay Credit Union, our financial institution.
  • Send an e-transfer to Angie will receive these and direct the
money to the Fellowship’s account and will provide the information to Jean for

We know that for some people your financial situation may be impacted by COVID-19
and we understand that you may not be able to contribute at this time. For those who
can, we look forward to your contributions in these ways. If you have any questions,
please contact Angie, Jean or Margaret.
Thanks, be well under the circumstances and stay tuned for more LUF virtual ways of
gathering! – Margaret Wanlin, Treasurer
