Get Involved

There are many ways to become involved with LUF.

Want to meet new people? All members and friends are invited to be part of our POD  system for organizing Sunday services. Greeters, beverage providers, and helpers are needed each week. Our POD system means you are asked once every three months to take on one of these roles. Our special events such as potlucks and fundraising events all need helpers to assist with set up and clean up.

Want to make the world a better place?  Find out what is going on in social justice or adult religious exploration: participate in various special events or our continuing work with the wider community.

Want to be part of helping children and youth? Our children’s religious exploration program is in need of participants to help with planning, organizing, and teaching.

Want to help keep the Fellowship running smoothly? LUF also depends on members and friends to work on our committees and task groups throughout the year. The legal responsibility for the organizational and financial operation of LUF is in the hands of the board of Directors. Our regular services are developed and organized by the Sunday Services/Worship Committee. The Fellowship Life/Membership Committee looks after many functions including Care, PODS, special functions, and membership. Our lay chaplaincy program is run by the Lay Chaplaincy committee.
