We are fortunate to have three Lay Chaplains who can officiate at marriage ceremonies and all other Rites of Passage such as memorial services and child dedication services. They can be reached through the LUF Office at 807-344-5980 or lufship@tbaytel.net.

The Canadian Unitarian Council has in place a program that enables congregations to appoint one or more of their members to be licensed to perform marriages. You may wish to call on a Lay Chaplain for one of these services:

  • Wedding
  • Funeral
  • Memorial Service / Celebration of Life
  • Child Dedication
  • Coming-Out Ceremony
  • Other “Milestone” Ceremonies
